God is Change? But I hate change!

I want an Unchanging God like they told us about in the catechism.

Too much change going on all around us.  At the very least, let God be unchanging.
“My Rock, my Refuge”–but rocks and refuges are always changing too, even faster these days.

Give me my God in a Box, the One Which never changes on me.

Or give me a God which is all about change, one which sees aliveness and hope and meaning and purpose in change…

so I  can welcome change in my life.
